ROTA is a membership organisation with charitable status. Formerly know as Greater London Action for Race Equality (GLARE) it has been in existence for 16 years and enjoys a well-established and strong reputation as an innovative Social Policy Think Tank.

It works
towards the elimination of discrimination and to promote both equality of opportunity access and best practice by informing London's strategic decision makers about issues affecting the Black voluntary sector and the communities it serves and ensuring representation in the development of policy.
